35 years of steel work in the San Fernando Valley & Antelope Valley

The work splits two ways and always has. Trucks are the older half of it: Super 10 and custom dump bodies, end dump trailers, hoists, wet kits, electric tarps, air gates, frame stretching and double frames. Steel is the other half: driveway gates, security gates, steel face and ornamental fencing, handrails and railings.

Both halves run through the same shops and the same welders. A dump body and a driveway gate are not the same product, but they are the same trade, and the reason we take on both is that the plate, the press and the people do not care which one is on the table.

We fabricate from AR400 through AR500 abrasion resistant steel on truck work, 3/16 to 3/8 inch, sized to the load. Nothing is an off the shelf size. You bring the truck, the opening or the drawings, and the build is measured to it.

DM Welding holds California contractor license 1145406, classification C-60, Welding. That is the trade this shop is licensed in, and it covers the fabrication and welding on everything described above.

We fabricate and install the steel we build. On a job that needs trades we are not licensed for, a gate operator and its wiring being the common one, that part is handled by the licensed trade rather than by us. We will tell you which is which before you commit to anything.
